Well, neither was I (at least not directly!) ; but that’s what my supervisor said after I explained myself!

Hi! My name is Ankit Priyadarshi, and I like to tell stories! This story is a real one and I feel many corporate employees would relate to it.

So I was promoted, and I took over my team’s charge from a colleague. Because he was assigned to work on another project. This project was nearing its end, but that’s when all the problems started to surface, starting the day I took charge. I believe that’s how things generally happen when you are doing a complicated task.

I am an automobile engineer, and I design busses.

The team I was working with was designing a new bus. As I had joined at the very end, most of the design was already completed. The next step was to complete the arrangement drawings (the documents with pictorial instructions for assembly of the bus), after which the bus would go into production.
